The Transandes Enduro will take place in a unique, magical and profoundly natural setting surrounded by volcanoes, mountains, rivers, lakes and ancient forests. Here, you’ll find the best grip in Chile!
The second annual Transandes Enduro will take place from January 12 to 14, 2018, in the Huilo Huilo Reserve. In this remote setting, far from any big cities, nature remains wild and untamed. Best of all, it has the incredible enduro trails that we used last year, and we have made a number of improvements this year to make them more extreme and exciting. Additionally, with the rainy winter we have had, there will undoubtedly be more ruts and rocks in sight!
The Huilo Huilo Reserve is a private initiative of over 100,000 hectares that has developed various tourism and conservation programs. During your visit, you can admire the impressive Mocho-Choshuenco volcano, the Fuy River and the crystalline waters of Pirihueico Lake, flanked by imposing mountains; marvel at the famous Huilo Huilo Waterfall, which cascades down nearly 100 meters; and gaze upwards at incredible araucaria, rauli, alerce and coihue trees that are over 400 years old!
The Reserve is also home to four spectacular hotels, cabins, a campground, a museum, a ski center and the Petermann Brewery, which enduro riders often frequent.
The Transandes team has hosted the famous Transandes Challenge for nine years, as well as the first annual Transandes Enduro. With over 400 kilometers of explored trails and roads, there is no better place for the 2018 Transandes Enduro!
